RECOVERY THROUGH SOUND AND COLLABORATION
WHO WE ARE
We are a group of mental health professionals and music producers in Brighton & Hove, UK.
We run structured jam sessions, tutorials and music therapy groups using synchronised electronic hardware for the benefit of people who use our local mental health service.
Our groups will run in Brighton's main NHS mental health hospital (Mill View Hospital) but extend also to the community. We hope to help people integrate and rehabilitate after a mental health crisis using sound, collaboration and creativity.
Our vision is to use the most accessible, expressive and intuitive hardware we can find to foster group flow and provide the most rewarding experience.

OUR VALUED SUPPORTERS
Thank you for all your help and enthusiasm
Since the inception of the Modulate group, the idea has resonated with many people who have devoted time and energy into helping us make it a reality. People have spread the word on social media, offered music equipment and wanted to get involved directly to help people learn how to use the music gear.
We're so grateful for all the support, no matter how small, and want to reflect this in the list of supporters below.
(If you have helped and your name isn't here, it might just be on our ToDo list, but don't be afraid to give us a nudge - we don't want to miss you out!)
GET INVOLVED
Your support is important to our work at Modulate. There are many ways you can contribute towards our causes, and every little bit that you commit goes a long way in helping us fulfill our mission. Learn more about how you can get involved and take advantage of the opportunity to help people through music.
DONATE MUSIC EQUIPMENT
Music is a powerful tool for healing and collaborating in a workshop like this can really bring people together, encourage play, co-production and recognition of our collective humanity.
If you do have any fully functional old (or not-so-old but-not-so-used) gear that you’d be happy to donate to a good cause, then please do get in touch.
* Audio/MIDI cables
* Synths/drum machines
* Samplers
* Mixers
We’d make sure it was used well. It could ignite a new passion in someone who needs it.

If we find we can't use it, we'll trade it with all proceeds going towards new gear.
SUPPORT US WITH A REGULAR DONATION USING PATREON
We are a non-profit organisation and will be seeking status as a Community Interest Company (CIC).

We are starting the group using our own funds; especially for things like petrol costs, small items, eg. cables/adaptors and donated equipment.

For less than the cost of lunch in our hospital canteen, you could donate monthly to help us ensure the smooth running of the group. We hope to connect together the most creative and intuitive electronic music hardware for the best experience possible.

Please support us on Patreon.
